2022 reissue of the triumphant HADES "The Dawn of The Dying Sun" with three bonus tracks.
We have been listening to HADES "The Dawn of The Dying Sun" since its 1997 release on Full Moon Productions and to this day like it's predecessor this album never gets old for us here at DHR! In 2022 Sylphorium Records reissued this timeless classic and DHR are proud to offer official US distribution for the band and label. This is quite simply one of the most epic, atmospheric, and complete albums from the early to mid-90's Norwegian Black Metal "scene". HADES were on of the bands to take part in the burning of Fantoft Stave Church which has added to their "True" Black Metal status. Their hatred and contempt for Christianity as well as a pride for their Norse heritage is weaved within a very intelligent and subtle album. Norse Viking Black Metal the way it was meant to be played. The majestic and atmospheric blackness of their music has a mesmerizing effect.
